FOSTERING HOPE

Fostering Hope Logo Color.png

The Fostering Hope Ministry provides Care Boxes each semester for college students who have aged out of the foster system, have no family support, and are attending college locally.  Items are distributed to roughly 30 students, twice each semester and must fit in a box 8 ½” X 11” X 4”, per student.  We are currently collecting the following items for the upcoming fall and spring semesters.  There is a box in the church office where items can be deposited.  Please return items no later than Sunday, September 22.

Fostering Hope is a ministry of First Baptist Amarillo focused on helping Children, Families, and Agencies in the Amarillo Area who are involved in Foster Care and/or Adoption.  It is our desire to partner with you to help minister to these people & agencies.

We would love to add you to one or both of our email lists to receive updates:

* Ministry Updates - Information about the latest activities within Fostering Hope, the Fostering Hope Care Closet, and our community.  We will also include an invitation to our monthly meetings held on the 4th Monday of every month.

* Additional Needs of Foster Families and Children - While the Fostering Hope Care Closet at FBC helps meet the needs of many families and children, there are still other needs that arise from CPS and other Foster/Adoption agencies.  Subscribing to this email or text will send you information about needs within our community. Once we know of a need and send an email, you will be able to respond if you are able to help provide the items needed. You will also be able to forward the email to others who might be able to help.
