JamieI never really focused on having a work life that allowed me to also value my faith. Recently I was applying for a new job. One place asked me where I saw myself in the future. I spoke how there is no telling, except for where God takes me. The person shifted the conversation elsewhere. But when I opened up in another interview about my faith, the person could relate and liked my answer. I thought back to the question Bridges asked, “How does your job glorify god?” And in that moment I knew where I really wanted to work.

HaleyWe are all given different gifts and talents, and we ought to utilize those gifts for the kingdom of God. Bridges helped me develop a biblical perspective on the work I do. In addition, the Bridges Bible study helped me see my coworkers in a different light, as we are all created in the image of God.

GeorgeI attended Bridges at First Baptist Church in Amarillo, Texas in early winter 2023. I admire this course of study and I value the time that I invested. First, the course materials are extremely high quality. It is clear that this course was developed by professionals who really know how to design and deliver organizational training. Second, the focus of the course was on a subject that I had never considered before. Did you ever notice that in Genesis 1, God was performing work? Finally and most importantly for me, in the course I met some of my church brothers and sisters that I had never met before. Participating in this course reminded me yet again of the basic humanity and godly virtue of my brothers and sisters at church. I was grateful for the opportunity to participate in this course and I highly recommend this course to anybody who loves working and who wants to know more about the biblical topic of work.
